His figure paintings and portraits are lively and vivid. His landscape paintings are a fusion of Modern Realism with classical Chinese Brush techniques. His favorite subjects are large birds such as the Eagle, Crane, Mandarin Duck, and the Cormorant. Apart from birds, he loves to capture landscapes as he appreciates the beauty of the grand scale of nature.
